How to Play

Using the program's mirroring tools, draw faces, shapes, and symmetrical patterns.

Starting the Game
- Select the green play button to load the welcome screen.
- The welcome screen will automatically fade into the game's interface. From there, you can begin painting.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click and drag to select, navigate, and draw.
- Touchscreen devices
  - Tap the screen with your fingers to select and navigate. Draw like you would if you were finger painting. 😀
Game Play
- Interface
  - All the tools are available on the menu on the left side of the screen. They are as follows:
    - Menu button: Save, print, or start over from scratch.
    - Mirroring tool: Choose how your drawing will be mirrored.
    - Undo button: Remove your last actions.
    - Eraser: Erase a specific part of your work.
    - Paint bucket: Fill your drawing or any enclosed part of it with color.
    - Pen tool: Draw freehand on the screen.
    - Brush size: Adjust the size of your pen.
    - Palette: Choose a color. There are 39 colors available in this game.
  - The drawing area occupies the right and center part of the screen. Draw away!
- Mirroring tool
  - This is the main feature of the game. What you draw on one side of the screen will appear on the mirrored part on the other side.
  - The end result will be a perfectly symmetrical drawing.
  - The game has 3 available settings for the mirroring tool:
    - Quadratic: Separates the screen into 4 parts
    - Horizontal: Divides the screen from top to bottom
    - Vertical: Divides the screen from left to right
  - Each setting works best for a different purpose. A vertical mirror setting, for instance, is ideal for drawing faces.
- Art tips
  - Decide early on how you want your drawing mirrored. Choose the right setting for the right job.
  - As much as possible, draw on one side only.
  - Make sure all your lines are closed before using the paint bucket tool.
  - The paint bucket tool is not mirrored. Keep that in mind when coloring.
- Saving your work
  - Select the menu button to access the save and print options.
  - Saving your work will download your finished artwork as a .png image file.
  - Selecting print will open the print dialog box. Use this to create a physical copy of your drawing.
